The research question

A shared founder connects this ecosystem. That does not make its assets interchangeable. The useful test is whether each product creates durable demand — and whether the evidence supports the story being told.

Documentary / Richard Heart & HEX

The Highest of Stakes.

The 2023 documentary follows Richard Heart and the world around HEX, bringing supporters and critics into the story. It offers a way into the people and the debate.

Directed by Patrick Moreau & Grant Peelle · 93 minutes · English

A film captures a perspective in time. Pair it with the project mechanics and the later court documents below.

THE PULSECHAIN ECOSYSTEM / CHART DIRECTORY

Find your token.
Open the right chart.

Five selected pools, clearly labelled. These are the same chart destinations used in the price bar above.

Charts open on DEX Screener in a new tab. Each pool has its own liquidity and pricing; a chart is not an endorsement. For Ethereum HEX, use the separate eHEX chart ↗. Buying-guide contract addresses identify tokens, not the pool addresses in these chart links.

Understand the map

One ecosystem. Different exposures.

How HEX rewards work matters.

HEX’s time commitments can produce additional HEX, with penalties for ending early or late. More tokens do not guarantee a positive return in dollars. Token price, transaction costs and the applicable contract rules affect the outcome.

HEX — How it works ↗

Legal evidence / U.S. civil action

The SEC complaint was dismissed.
What did the court decide?

Case 1:23-cv-05749, Eastern District of New York. The sequence matters.

The court grants the motion to dismiss

The order addresses insufficient grounds for personal jurisdiction and, independently, the complaint’s failure to adequately plead the domestic transactions or conduct required for the U.S. securities-law claims. The court allows an opportunity to amend.

Court order, 28 February 2025 — reproduced by Midpage ↗
A legal victory in this action. A precise conclusion.

Calling the dismissal a significant litigation win is reasonable. Calling it a trial verdict clearing every allegation, SEC approval of the tokens, or proof of investment safety would go beyond these documents.

Scope: the linked U.S. complaint, dismissal order and SEC letter. This is not a comprehensive current docket search or a statement about every proceeding in every jurisdiction.

Editorial analysis / hypotheses to test

The thesis needs more than a headline.

What could make the case stronger

Usage beyond shared conviction

  • Repeat demand: users return to applications without relying entirely on promotional incentives.
  • Executable liquidity: meaningful trades can enter and exit without severe price impact.
  • Independent development: useful products, documentation and contributors emerge beyond one public figure.

What needs a harder look

Separate conviction from exposure

  • Concentration: examine token ownership and pool depth before interpreting headline valuations.
  • Commitment mechanics: understand lock periods, penalties, gas costs and the ability to exit.
  • Operational risk: bridges, contracts and interfaces add distinct failure points. A legal result does not test their security.

The next research pass

Three checks that would add substance.

01 / LIQUIDITY

Measure the actual pools.

Record the chain, pool, quote asset, date and trade size. Compare slippage rather than combining incompatible HEX quotes.

02 / DEMAND

Look beyond price.

Study recurring usage, fee activity and application retention. Distinguish trading churn from useful activity.

03 / EVIDENCE

Update the record.

Track dated technical releases and new court filings. Revise the thesis when new evidence contradicts it.

CIX learning route / PulseChain essentials

One step at a time.

Begin with the basics, then choose what you want to explore. Our summaries and project guides sit alongside the original PulseChainStats video tutorials.

The practical side / free guides

Know the network.
Understand every step.

Four original CIX walkthroughs cover PLS, pHEX, ProveX (PRVX) and Incentive Token (INC). Start with your network and wallet, then choose the asset you want to understand. Read for free, without an account.

This walkthrough

pHEX · PulseChain

PulseChain network · native PLS for transaction fees. The steps below cover HEX on PulseChain.

A separate asset

eHEX · Ethereum

Ethereum network · native ETH for transaction fees. This is not the asset bought through the PulseChain route below. A matching ticker or contract address alone does not identify the network.

Guide 01 / PulseChain

Get your first PLS.

PLS is the native asset used to pay PulseChain transaction fees. Adding the network to a wallet does not fund the wallet.

02

Add and verify PulseChain.

Use the wallet setup on PulseChain.com ↗ or enter the current network details in your wallet. Compare them with the official site before saving.

03

Choose how to fund it.

The project website currently lists bank/payment routes including ProveX and 0xCoast, and crypto routes including LibertySwap and the PulseChain Bridge. Start from the official directory ↗. Providers differ in availability, identity checks, custody, fees and execution. A listing is not a guarantee.

04

Check the destination before paying.

Confirm the receiving wallet address, destination network, asset you will receive, total cost and minimum amount with the chosen provider. A bridge may deliver a bridged token rather than native PLS. Resolve how you will obtain destination gas before using that route; do not assume a wallet with zero PLS can perform a swap.

05

Verify receipt, then continue.

Start with a small amount you can afford to lose. Check the transaction and receiving address in the PulseChain explorer, then confirm the wallet is on PulseChain. Keep the transaction reference. Only continue once native PLS is available for fees.

Network and directory checked 25 September 2026. No provider account, payment or bridge transaction was executed for this guide. Routes and availability can change.

Guide 02 / HEX on PulseChain

From PLS to pHEX.

Begin with PLS in your own PulseChain wallet. This walkthrough explains a swap, not a reason to invest or a promise of returns.

01

Open the official PulseX entry point.

Go to app.PulseX.com ↗. At review, it offers “Launch PulseX” and IPFS/desktop options. Use the current launch link there instead of a sponsored search result or a link sent by direct message. On mobile, use your wallet’s supported dapp browser or connection flow.

02

Confirm the wallet and token.

Choose PulseChain in your wallet. In the swap interface select PLS as the input and HEX as the output. Compare the HEX contract with the official project sources, not just the symbol. The address below identifies HEX only together with the selected chain.

Compare with HEX.com and PulseChain.com. A contract address is not a receiving address for a manual payment.

03

Review the quote.

Enter an amount while retaining PLS for gas. Check the estimated tokens received, price impact, slippage tolerance, minimum received and transaction fee. Do not raise slippage repeatedly to force a trade through. If the quote is unclear or liquidity is thin, stop and reassess.

04

Read the wallet request before signing.

Confirm that the account, network and requested action match the swap you chose. If a token spending approval is requested, review its recipient and allowance; it is a separate permission. A recovery phrase is never part of approving a swap. Wallet permissions explained ↗

05

Check the result.

After confirmation, inspect the transaction in the explorer and your HEX balance on PulseChain. If the wallet does not display the token, use the verified contract to add its display entry. Buying HEX does not require a separate mining or time-commitment transaction; those mechanisms have their own rules and penalties. Read the HEX mechanism first ↗

Guide 03 / ProveX token

How to buy ProveX (PRVX).

ProveX is a protocol and PRVX is its token. Using the ProveX app to obtain crypto and buying PRVX are different actions. This guide covers the token on PulseChain.

PRVX route: funded wallet → verified token → reviewed swap · CIX illustration, not a wallet screen.
01

Start with a funded PulseChain wallet.

If you are new, follow the PLS setup guide first. Keep native PLS for transaction fees even when your swap input is another token.

02

Follow the token-buying link.

Open ProveX.com ↗ and find “Buy $PRVX on PulseX”. The separate “Launch App” link opens the ProveX application. Check the destination before connecting your wallet.

03

Verify PRVX and choose your input.

Confirm PulseChain and the output contract below. The project’s buying link may preselect an input token: use an asset you actually hold on PulseChain, then obtain a fresh quote. A dollar ticker does not make different token versions interchangeable.

ProveX · PRVX · PulseChain · chain ID 3690xF6f8Db0aBa00007681F8fAF16A0FDa1c9B030b11

Compare with the project source ↗. This identifies the token; do not send funds directly to its contract.

04

Review the amount and permissions.

Check the output amount, minimum received, price impact and fees. Read any spending approval separately and limit its allowance where appropriate. If no usable route appears, stop; do not force the swap by repeatedly increasing slippage.

05

Confirm and check your balance.

Sign only the transaction you intended. After confirmation, verify its result in the PulseChain explorer and the PRVX balance at your wallet address. For a bank-payment alternative, the Coast video below explains its own service; check current country availability, fees and account requirements there.

Address checked against ProveX.com and PulseChain.com on 25 September 2026. No purchase was executed for this guide.

Guide 04 / Incentive token

How to buy Incentive (INC).

INC is the PulseX incentive token on PulseChain. It is different from PLS and PLSX. Buying INC through a swap does not require providing liquidity or entering a farm.

01

Prepare PulseChain and gas.

Use your PulseChain wallet with native PLS available for fees. The PLS guide covers setup and funding; do not use the Ethereum network for this route.

02

Open the PulseX swap interface.

Start at app.PulseX.com ↗ and follow its current launch option. Choose the swap view. Farming and liquidity screens perform different actions and are not needed for this purchase.

03

Select the exact Incentive token.

Choose your input asset and INC as the output. Match the complete contract with PulseX.com ↗. Do not identify the token by its name or green icon alone.

Incentive · INC · PulseChain · chain ID 3690x2fa878Ab3F87CC1C9737Fc071108F904c0B0C95d

Compare with the project source ↗. This identifies the token; do not send funds directly to its contract.

04

Inspect the swap, then the wallet request.

Retain some PLS for gas. Check price impact, slippage, minimum received and the network fee. Review any token allowance separately. If the route or amount is unexpected, cancel before signing.

05

Verify that you received INC.

Check the confirmed transaction and received token address in the explorer. If the token is not shown in your wallet, add its display entry using the verified contract. Holding INC alone does not place your assets into a farm or guarantee rewards.

Your questions / Clear starting points

Curious? Start here.

Who is Richard Heart?

Richard Heart, also known as Richard Schueler, is the founder associated with HEX, PulseChain and PulseX. This page explores those projects, the public story around him and the evidence that helps readers assess each separately.

Start with the documentary trailer ↑

Are HEX, PulseChain and PulseX the same thing?

No. HEX is a token and time-locking protocol. PulseChain is a blockchain with PLS as its native gas asset. PulseX is an exchange protocol with PLSX as its token; INC is its incentive token. Sharing an ecosystem does not make these assets interchangeable.

Compare the tokens and their chart destinations ↑

What is the difference between pHEX and eHEX?

pHEX refers to HEX on PulseChain; eHEX refers to HEX on Ethereum. They have separate balances, prices and liquidity. Choose the network first, then verify the token contract and the pool. Moving between networks is not simply changing the ticker name.

See the network checklist and buying routes ↑

Did Richard Heart win the SEC case?

The court granted dismissal on 28 February 2025. On 21 April 2025, the SEC told the court it would not amend its complaint. Those documents support describing a litigation win in that action.

The dismissal addressed jurisdiction and the pleaded connection to U.S. securities law. It was not a trial verdict resolving every allegation or SEC approval of the tokens. Read the dates and original documents ↑

Where can I watch The Highest of Stakes?

Is the HEX diamond part of the HEX protocol?

The Enigma is a physical collectible featured in the community story. It is not a component of the HEX smart contract. Owning HEX should not be interpreted as owning a share of the stone.
